Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 35 and Moore Ave in Aransas Pass, TX on May 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:19 a.m. A Honda Element operated by 62-year-old Kenneth Todd Schafer is said to have disregarded a stop sign and was struck by a tractor-trailer as it attempted to avoid a collision. The truck driver suffered minor injuries. Schafer was seriously injured.
