What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials confirmed the death of a driver in a two-semi-truck crash at Hwy 287 in Moore County, TX on January 4th, 2023.  Officials say one of the two semi-trucks involved allegedly ran a stop sign before colliding with the other at the intersection with FM 297. The two drivers injured in the crash were hospitalized for treatment where one of the two was confirmed to have later died. He was identified as 67-year-old Kevin Potter. Additional details were not provided.
