What Happened

Police have information on a crash that killed a person at Airport Rd in Mineral Wells, TX on January 22nd, 2023. According to investigators, it happened around 1:25 a.m. and involved a Nissan Altima operated by 19-year-old Christian Robinson. Police say the vehicle was headed eastbound approaching a curve in the road. The vehicle is alleged to have missed the curve and veered into the gravel entrance of a nearby business. From there, it struck a boulder causing it to go airborne. Upon landing, it overturned, ejecting a passenger vehicle the vehicle and landing on its roof. The passenger, identified as 20-year-old Kieren Davis, suffered fatal injuries in the incident. Two other passengers, including 20-year-old Jose Martinez, were seriously injured. Robinson had less serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
