What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a woman at US Hwy 69 near Alba, TX on March 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened as a Chevrolet Camaro operated by 55-year-old Ronald Vinson traveled around 3:40 p.m. Police say his passenger, 45-year-old Kristie Maxwell, fell out of the vehicle in motion and offered serious injuries. Maxwell was taken to an area hospital for treatment and later pronounced dead from her injuries. Right now, police do not have any additional information to share.
