What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at President George Bush Turnpike in Plano, TX on December 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:38 p.m. Investigators say a Chevrolet Silverado  headed westbound before wooden pallets carried by the vehicle fell into lanes of travel. Officials say the vehicle pulled into a shoulder as a motorcycle approached. The motorcycle is said to have made contact with the fallen pallets, the impact ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Landry Cade Eaton, was seriously injured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
