What Happened

Amarillo Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Hillside Rd in Amarillo, TX on March 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:15 a.m. Investigators say A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 56-year-old Larry Granado was headed westbound on Hillside. A second Chevrolet Silverado was headed eastbound on Hillside. The trucks collided in a turning lane under unclear circumstances. Granado was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The other driver and a passenger were hospitalized with n0n-life-threatening injuries.
