Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at State Hwy 302 in Ector County, TX on September 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:12 p.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes headed westbound is alleged to have failed to yield right-of-way from a stop sign, entering into the intersection with 10th Street. From there, police say the vehicles collided with a Dodge Ram 1500. A passenger in the Mercedes, identified as 80-year-old Larry Lee Anderson, suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the Dodge and a passenger were not injured, according to officials. Additional information was not immediately available.
