What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Loop 12 in Dallas, TX on July 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:59 a.m. Investigators say a Nissan Armada was northbound before colliding with a pedestrian walking westbound from the east side of the road. Police allege the vehicle had been traveling at a high rate of speed before the collision, which caused the vehicle to travel over a center media onto a light pole. Police further allege the driver, a 21-year-old woman who was not publicly identified, displayed signs of intoxication at the time of the collision.
