Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Hempstead Hwy in Houston, TX on August 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:45 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC C1500 operated by 22-year-old Leo Alvarado was turning left onto Rayson Rd. At the same time, an Audi Q5 operated by a 58-year-old woman who was not publicly identified was inbound on Hempstead before it was struck by the GMC during its turn. Officials say Alvarado suffered suspected serious injuries. The Audi operator was not injured, according to police. Additional information was not available.
