What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 54 in Sherman County, TX on August 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:47 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Highlander operated by 41-year-old Lian Mang was headed southwest on US 54 on what they say was the wrong side of the road before continuing into a northeast lane and striking a Buick Enclave operated by a 49-year-old Kansas man. The Buick driver was not injured. Mang was reportedly seriously injured. Police expressed suspicion that alcohol played a factor in the crash.
