What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured three people at US 290 in Blanco County, TX on September 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Corvette operated by 58-year-old Stacy Christ was headed southbound on Towhead Valley Rd before pilling out into the path of another vehicle at the intersection with US 290. Investigators allege the Curvette failed to yield and say both Christ and a passenger suffered minor injuries. They allege possible alcohol involvement in the incident. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured, however, 38-year-old passenger, Liliana Walls Guerra, was seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
