Police say the incident happened around 8:44 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Camaro operated by a 43-year-old Converse man was headed southbound when it collided with a Hyundai Sonata operated by 60-year-old Linda Hernandez. Hernandez suffered injuries that were serious in nature, according to police. The other driver also had serious injuries and authorities recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge.
