What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 90 in Luling, TX on September 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:02 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler operated by 55-year-old Julie Wallace was headed westbound on US 90 when it allegedly ran a stop sign at the four-way intersection before swerving to avoid another vehicle. It then collided head-on into a Chevrolet C1500 operated by 56-year-old Lottie Jefferson, who suffered serious injuries in the collision. Wallace suffered less serious injuries and police recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
