What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a pedestrian at Witcher Ln in Houston, TX on December 8th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:19 p.m. According to investigators, a Lincoln MKZ operated by 40-year-old Charles Blackshear was on Witcher Ln headed towards Airline Dr. Officers allege the vehicle struck 34-year-old pedestrian, Luigi Cardenas, on the left arm an wrist, before leaving the scene. Blackshear was later located and arrested on a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge.
