What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at County Rd 300 in Loving County, TX on January 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:54 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 41-year-old Alejandro Contreras was headed northbound as a Dodge Ram operated by a 39-year-old Valliant, OK man headed southbound. Police alleged the Dodge crossed a double yellow line, forcing the tractor-trailer to take evasive action. The two vehicles collided, leaving the Valliant man with serious injuries. Contreras was not injured, according to police. Additional information was not available.
