Officials are saying it happened around 4:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by a 550-year-old driver who was not publicly identified was exiting from a private driveway onto FM 1787 at the time. Police allege the vehicle failed to yield while doing so, traveling into the path of a westbound Dodge Ram 5500. The two vehicles collided in the process, leaving the Ford operator with injuries suspected of being serious in nature.
