What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 1788 in Andrews County, TX on June 26th, 2023. Police say the incident involved a commercial truck headed northbound and a Dodge Ram 3500 also headed northbound. Police allege the Dodge missed a turn and while attempting a u-turn, turned into the path of the commercial truck, leaving the 41-year-old Pittsburg, KS driver with suspected serious injuries. The 24-year-old Odessa man operating the commercial truck had less serious injuries, according to police. Additional information was not immediately available.
