What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a man at FM 2104 in Bastrop County, TX on August 20th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:02 p.m. A Mazda operated by a 28-year-old La Grange man was headed south in a northbound lane on FM 2104, passing in a no passing zone. It failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 48-year-old La Grange man. The driver of the Mazda suffered serious injuries in the collision while the other driver was evaluated for possible injuries. Additional information was not available.
