Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at FM 78 and Jaenke St in Kirby, TX on February 7th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:10 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Focus headed westbound is alleged to have strict a pedestrian located in or near the roadway. The pedestrian, who was not publicly identified, is said to have been seriously injured. The driver of the Ford was identified as 42-year-old Travis Davis, who was allegedly uninjured. Police allege Davis was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision and issued an Intoxication Assault charge. Additional information was not available.
