What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 782 in Rusk County, TX on March 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:40 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 3500 operated by a 34-year-old Terrell man was headed southbound on FM 782. Headed southbound was a motorcycle operated by a 27-year-old DeBerry man. Police say the Dodge may have had mechanical issues prior to the vehicles colliding, which left the DeBerry man with serious injuries. The Terrell man was not injured and officers recommended a Failure to Control Speed charge.
