What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Huffmeister Rd in Harris County, TX on August 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by 20-year-old Ace Broussard was headed southbound on Huffmeister Rd before losing control for unclear reasons. It then collided with a Toyota 4Runner that is alleged to have left the the scene prior to becoming disabled. Broussard is said to have suffered minor injuries while the driver of the Toyota, a 23-year-old male who was not publicly identified, had more serious injuries.
