What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured a man at State Hwy 137 in Dawson County, TX on January 2nd, 2023. Officials are saying it happened around 10:39 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by an unnamed 50-year-old Odessa man was headed eastbound on FM 1064. At the same time, a Hyundai operated by an unnamed 28-year-old Albuquerque, NM man was headed southbound on SH 137. The tractor-trailer is alleged to have failed to yield at the intersection, pulling into the path of the Hyundai. The two vehicles collided, leaving the Hyundai driver with serious injuries. The other driver was uninjured and cited for Failure to Yield Row.
