What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at Wetmore Rd in San Antonio, TX on December 29th, 2023. Officials say the incident took place around 8 p.m. Investigators say a northbound Chevrolet truck allegedly traveled into southbound lanes before colliding with a Kia Forte. The Kia is said to have lost control and crashed in the impact, its 38-year-old driver hospitalized with serious injuries. The Chevrolet is alleged to have left the scene without stopping to render aid. Reports indicate the vehicle and driver were later located by authorities and charges for Intoxication Assault and Failure to Stop and Render Aid were recommended and/or issued.
