What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at State Hwy 434 in Rusk County, TX on July 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:34 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Explorer was westbound attempting to turn southbound onto FM 2658. As it did so, a motorcycle headed eastbound collided with the Ford before the Ford rotated and struck a nearby commercial truck. The crash left the motorcyclist, a 32-year-old male who was not publicly identified, with suspected serious injuries. The Ford operator was evaluated for possible injuries while the truck operators was allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not immediately available.
