Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Beltway 8 in Houston, TX on September 8th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:05 p.m. According to investigators, a 27-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was allegedly walking in or near northbound lanes before he was struck by a vehicle. Sources indicate the were a nearby water main break affecting the sidewalk that may have contributed to the crash.
