What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured a man at Greenwood Dr in Corpus Christi, TX on October 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5;47 p.m. Investigators believe a Chevrolet Silverado headed northeast on Greenwood was allegedly slowing to turn left when it was struck while turned by a Chevrolet Impala. It was alleged by authorities that the Silverado, whose driver they say was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, failed to yield to the Impala. The driver of the Impala was seriously injured, according to police. The other driver was evaluated for possible injuries and cited for Failure to Yield and Driving While Intoxicated.
