What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash at South Wayside Dr in Harris County, TX on November 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:40 p.m. According to investigators, a 44-year-old man was found unresponsive at the scene. Police believe the man was operating a garbage truck and exited the vehicle. Upon exiting, it is suspected the vehicle may not have been put into park before it rolled forward, striking the man and pinning him between a nearby fence and dumpster. Authorities did not have any additional information.
