What Happened

A man and two dogs were struck by a dump truck in pedestrian accident at I-45 in Tiki Island, TX on March 8th, 2023. Police say the man, who was not named, was reportedly crossing a causeway with two dogs near an on-ramp on I-45. At some point, the man and the dogs were struck around noon by a dump truck. The man was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. One of the dogs was killed in the collision. Additional information was not yet available.
