What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 60 in Wharton, TX on December 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:28 p.m. Investigators say a Ford F-150 operated by an unnamed 43-year-old Wharton man was headed northbound on North Richmond Rd before veering from its lane. The vehicle is said to have crossed into a turn lane and struck a stationary Ford F-250 operated by 75-year-old Manuel Isaacs. Isaacs was seriously injured in a crash while the other driver had minor injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued a charge of Intoxication Assault against the driver.
