What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 67 and Camp Wisdom Rd in Dallas, TX on December 20th, 2022. Officers say it happened around 10:59 p.m. Investigators say a Honda Accord operated by 46-year-old Maria Mendez was headed southbound before veering from the road for unclear reasons. It then veered into a concrete barrier and into a right-hand shoulder across multiple travel lanes. It hit a second barrier before coming to rest. Mendez was reportedly seriously injured in the crash. No other vehicles were involved and police had no additional information to share.
