What Happened

Laredo Police have charged a driver in a connection with a crash that killed a man at Bob Bullock Loop in Laredo, TX on April 2nd, 2022. Police say it happened around 6:56 a.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Tiguan was traveling southbound when it reportedly crossed a center divider and into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Nissan Xterra. The Xterra driver, identified as 31-year-old Mario Alberto Baez Jr., suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen, 28-year-old Esteban Ezequiel Deleon was charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
