What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Montwood Dr in El Paso, TX on July 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:33 a.m. Investigators believe a Ford Fiesta operated by 29-year-old Marlene Hernandez Villalobos was headed southbound on Escarpa Dr before continuing southbound onto a gravel median and over into eastbound traffic. The vehicle then collided with a Kia Soul operated by a 19-year-old El Paso woman. The collision left Villalobos with serious injuries. The other driver and her 48-year-old passenger were not injured. Additional information was not available.
