What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a shooting that killed a man at Galewood Garden Apartments in Austin, TX on September 23rd, 2019. Officials say the incident happened early morning. 30-year-old Matthew Jarrett Lee was in a sedan waiting for his girlfriend when 26-year-old Emilio Ascension Ortiz then fired seveal shots into the vehicle. Lee was killed and Ortiz was charged with homicide.
