What Happened

Houston Police released the name of the man killed in a pedestrian accident at FM 2100 and North Diamondhead Blvd in Crosby, TX on February 7th, 2019. Matthew Kimmel was killed in the accident. Police say Kimmel had reportedly been standing in the middle of the road when he was struck by a woman in a Mercury Grand Marquis. The woman then exited the vehicle and fled the scene. Kimmel was then struck by an additional vehicle that also fled the scene. He was transported to a hospital where he later died of his injuries.
