What Happened

Nolanville Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-14 in Nolanville, TX on August 26th, 2022. Investigators say the incident happened around 5:10 a.m. and involved two vehicles crashing under unclear circumstances. 38-year-old Matthew Odle and Cardavious Taplin both suffered fatal injuries at the scene. A third occupant of the same vehicle, identified as  Shandrea Taylor, was hospitalized in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle involved, identified as 25-year-old Courtney Madison, is said to not have had a valid driver's license. It was not stated it Madison was injured in the crash.
