What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a Bogata man at FM 115 in Franklin County, TX on July 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Hino truck operated by a 22-year-old man was westbound on FM 1448 as a tractor-trailer was southbound on FM 115. The Hino truck is alleged to have failed to yield at the intersection, colliding with the tractor-trailer. The driver of the tractor-trailer, 59-year-old Michael Hinson suffered suspected serious injuries. A passenger in the Hino truck had suspected minor injuries.
