What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 734 in Williamson County, TX on December 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:24 p.m. According to investigators, it was 47-year-old Nghia Tran Dinh injured in the collision. Investigators say Dinh was operating a Hyundai Santa Fe, headed southbound at the time of the crash. A Jeep Wrangler operated by 43-year-old Courtney Speck was headed northbound on Parmer Lane. The Jeep is said to have performed a wide u-tun to travel southbound and allegedly did not signal as it traveled across multiple lanes. In the process, it collided with the Hyundai, seriously injuring Dinh. Following the collision, the Jeep fled the scene. Officers say Speck was uninjured and expressed suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
