What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Chandler Rd in Williamson County, TX on May 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:49 a.m. 38-year-old Nyomi Rosales-Klebahn was behind the wheel of a Hyundai Sonata that was struck by a tractor-trailer at intersection. Police say the driver of the semi-truck told them that the Hyundai had previously come to a complete stop before failing to yield and proceeding into the intersection. The driver further told police that the truck attempted to brake and veer away from the car to prevent the collision but was unable to do so leading to the crash. Rosales-Klebahn suffered fatal injuries while the truck driver was not injured.
