What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured an officer at Lamar Blvd in Arlington, TX on December 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:49 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia Spectra headed westbound on East Lamar Blvd collided with a marked police vehicle in a westbound lane. Police say the vehicle had its emergency lights active at the time as the officer was involved in closing westbound lanes. The collision left the officer with injuries believed to be serious. The other driver was not injured.
