What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a bicyclist dead at Foy Ln in Houston, TX on March 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened early morning as an unnamed man was headed northbound on Foy. Investigators believe a Lincoln Continental struck the bicyclist, whose bicycle became trapped under the vehicle as it fled the scene. Police say a witness followed the suspect to a nearby residence and officers later detained the individual. They say they do not believe the suspect was impaired. The man that was struck was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Additional information was not provided.
