Houston Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at South Dairy Ashford Rd in Houston, TX on September 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened when a Honda Accord headed southbound lost control while allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle is said to have first struck a curb before losing control and crashing into a pair of trees. A rear passenger in the vehicle was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. A second rear passenger was hospitalized in stable condition. Authorities allege the driver of the vehicle, 24-year0old Adrian James Martinez, fled the scene on-foot before later being located.
