What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US Hwy 59 in Houston, TX on March 4th, 2023. Police say it happened around 7:25 p.m. According to police, a GMC pickup was attempting to pull into a shoulder following suffering a flat tire. A motorcycle is said to have been approaching at a high rate of a speed and collided with the rear of the truck in the process. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The other driver was not injured and remained at the scene for police questioning. Authorities say they do not believe the driver was intoxicated. Additional information was not available.
