What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a pedestrian at FM 1485 and TX 242 in Montgomery County, TX on August 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. They say an unnamed male was walking in a southbound shoulder when he was struck by a Ford F-150 under unclear circumstances. The man was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Police do not currently suspect alcohol in the crash and had no additional information to share.
