What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 976 in Burleson County, TX on December 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:36 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler operated by 43-year-old Patrick Marek was traveling northbound before losing control at a curve in the road. It then hit a water pipe and electrical pole before overturning. Marek was ejected from the vehicle and seriously injured. Officers did not disclose additional information.
