Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 79 in Palestine, TX on August 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:32 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Impala headed northbound is said to have collided with a Geo Prizm under unclear circumstances. 81-year-old Paulino Herrera Vincente suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
