What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash on I-59 at TX 288 that injured at least one person on January 7th, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. Police say a pickup that lost control rear-ended an SUV around 2:30 a.m. The pickup overturned and a passenger inside was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. A police cruiser that arrived to investigate was then rear-ended by a fourth vehicle, injuring no one involved.
