What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 1788 in Andrews County, TX on June 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:14 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 24-year-old Odessa man was northbound on FM 1788. Police allege a Dodge Ram operated by a 41-year-old Pittsburg, KS man was also northbound and missed a turn onto SE 8000. They say the vehicle attempting to turn onto FM 1788, turning into the path of the tractor-trailer. The vehicles collided, leaving the Pittsburg man with suspected serious injuries. The Odessa man had minor injuries, according to investigators. Additional information was not available.
