What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Lovers Leap Rd in Waco, TX on October 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:15 a.m. According to investigators, a Mazda 3 operated by 26-year-old Shovan Deb was headed southbound on Lovers Leap Rd when it hit a cub in the road. The vehicle then struck a guardrail before overturning. A passenger, identified as 27-year-old Razwan Tanvir, suffered serious injuries while the driver suffered minor injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
