What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials released the name of the drivers involved in a fatal semi-truck accident on SH-19 in Anderson County, TX on January 24th, 2019. 61--year-old Rebecca Lynne Burke was killed when her vehicle crossed into opposite direction traffic and struck an oncoming semi-truck head-on. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck, Joe Salva, was treated for minor injuries.
