Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at Callaghan Rd in San Antonio, TX on September 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:34 a.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck headed southbound is alleged to have been attempting to perform a u-turn before pulling into the path of a northbound Ford Ranger operated by 41-year-old Rickey Wayne Wooten. This led to a collision between the two vehicles, which police say left Wooten with injuries believed to be serious in nature. The commercial truck operator was not injured, according to authorities. Source indicate a Failure to Yield Right of Way charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver of the commercial truck.
